About
A Gothic Apothecary for the Soft-Hearted
Welcome, wanderer.
This shop was created from a love of beauty, ritual, fantasy, and the small enchantments that help us survive difficult worlds.
I'm someone who spends equal amounts of time reading gothic romance novels, exploring cozy farms in games like Stardew Valley, getting emotionally attached to companions in Baldur's Gate 3, studying folklore and history, and searching for the sacred hidden inside ordinary life. I studied anthropology in college, with a deep love for sociology, cultural history, folk traditions, and the ways people throughout history have used ritual, beauty, and storytelling to endure hardship.
My spiritual practice draws heavily from Irish and Italian folk magic traditions, ranging from pagan folk customs to folk Catholic devotional practices. I work especially with the Madonna in her many forms: protector, mother, queen, mourner, and source of tenderness in hard times.
I originally fell in love with anointing oils because they offered a simple, tactile way to bring glamour magic into everyday life. A drop on the wrists before work. A ritual before a first date. A reminder that even exhausted people deserve beauty, romance, softness, mystery, and wonder.
Everything here is created for people who feel worn down by modern life and want to reclaim a sense of enchantment for themselves. Not as escapism, but as resistance. I believe whimsy, pleasure, adornment, fantasy, and rest are deeply human needs.
This space is rooted in the belief that all people deserve dignity, safety, peace, and love. I especially believe in uplifting those who have experienced marginalization, oppression, or systemic violence. Fascism, authoritarianism, bigotry, and cruelty have no place here.
May these creations help you feel a little more magical, protected, radiant, and alive.
